Money troubles in paradise
the problem with money in this place is that the bills are always to big
I took out some money a week ago, but try and buy a beer that costs 8 pesos with a 500 peso bill.
or a 100 peso bill for that matter, getting change and making sure you have small enough bills is the princial money problem here.
anyway, I am of for a few more days of learning spanish and swimming

Hey Marty,
I'm a friend of Mira. I was just reading through some of your trip and it looks like you're in some nice places.
I crewed on a boat for a year or so in Mexico; we meandered the pacific side pretty thouroughly to about acapulco, mainly looking for good dive sites and nice playas.
A good surf spot, on your way back up is close to La Paz on the Gulf Side on the Baja called Loreto. A friend of mine, also aquainted with the Jordan River-Sombrio, enjoyed a few sessions in Loreto so yeah if you're in that neighbourhood, have a look.
